Get to Know Owner Paula Austad and the History of Canine Corner.

I purchased Canine Corner in 2000 and have been sole owner since then. I moved from Marshall, WI, to Sun Prairie in 2002.

I moved to my current location in January 2004 for the better environment and proximity to a vet. My current employee, Jeanine, a groomer, has been with me since 2002. I have been grooming for 10 years and Jeanine eight years.

We like customers to feel safe dropping off their pet to us. I run a personable shop so people can feel they are dropping off their pet with a friend for the day. While waiting for pick up, pets are given a towel to lay on and a bowl of water.

Owners can bring anything they feel may make their pet more comfortable, i.e. a favorite toy. I want people to know that beyond just running a business, we really do try to make each pet look their best. We feel our reputation walks out the door with your pet at the end of the day.
